Sheri
has a bachelor degree from the University of Texas at Austin and
an MBA from Texas State University. Her professional experience
includes coordinating a homeownership program for a lending
institution where she collaborated with city leaders in a 42
county rural area within Central and South Texas to bring
affordable housing and homeownership programs to their
communities.
Most recently, she was the Program Manager for client services
at an Austin-based non-profit. She directed five programs,
managed 15 staff, and controlled $2 million in funding. In
addition to her professional experience, Sheri designed and
implemented a program to help youth develop entrepreneurial
skills and create small businesses, coached for the Special
Olympics, and created volunteer recruitment processes for
CampFire USA.
